The earth is my mother
Who has blessed me with life.
Blessed be she.

The earth is my shepherd
Who has nourished me with good things
And watched over my paths.
Blessed be he.

The earth is my lover
Who invites me to share
Intimacy, connection, love. . .
Blessed be they.

What can separate me from earth’s love?
From her I arose,
To him I shall return.
And they are with me all my days.
